American Idol singers all joined together to sing Shout to the Lord the other night. While some are saying this is a travesty (because they replaced "Jesus" with "Shepherd") I say it's an opportunity!
What a beautiful opportunity to use this as a lead-in to sharing the gospel with American Idol fans! Why should we let Satan have victory over this? Let's use it to further the Kingdom!Romans 14:11 It is written: "'As surely as I live,' says the Lord, 'every knee will bow before me; every tongue will confess to God.'"

I wholly agree! Not only was it awesome that the song was used 3 times that week on Idol, but Mariah Carey's song just before them actually had scripture being recited behind the track.
