I've been searching for a new home for the love of my life. Looks like I've found one. She lives on a 10 acre ranch and will train DJ to become an expert cattle dog. He'll have buddies since she has several other dogs and older kids, and he'll always be mentally and physically stimulated.
I'm so sad for myself, but very happy for him.
