God freakin' rocks!

Why, at this particular moment, is one reason God rocks? Because He just landed me an amazing job!

I started looking for a job a few weeks ago when my current wonderful, but not-well-paying job cut my hours. I posted my resume on Monster.com and applied for a few positions. A few days later, an online college called me and said they found my resume online. They asked if I'd be interested in the position. I interviewed several times this week, but I started to get kind of worried the last few days. I knew my heart wasn't right with God and so I didn't feel comfortable praying and asking Him to bless me with this job if I was being rebellious against Him. I met with a good friend (mighty woman of God) last night and God thoroughly used her to bring me back into a right place with Him. I found out today that I got the job! I know, know, know that it's because of my obedience to Him that He blessed me.

So, what will I be doing? I'm so glad you asked! I'll be an Enrollment Service Specialist. I'll be helping prospective and new online students with the financial aid and admissions process, scheduling classes, buying books and software, signing into classes, etc. I'll have about 100 students I'll be mentoring and encouraging, helping them be successful in their online education. This is so right up my alley and is absolutely a perfect position for me!

And I'll tell you what - when you know you don't deserve God's grace and you receive grace and blessings anyway, you appreciate it so much more. It's the sweetest thing - an amazing display of God's love for His bride.
